Collective Harvesting of Memory

This project proposes to reclaim the area of Clarence Road Car Park in Southend-on-Sea, in the interest of the community and as a space for growing, learning and making. The new structures integrate areas of urban farming, communal cooking and dining, together with library and workshop spaces, therefore behaving as a new and active ‘piazza’ for the city.
